1.00 PART I GENERAL
1.01 Drawings and general provisions as specified apply to this section.
1.02 Product Data - integrator's general description for each item and related components. For specific information, see catalog.
1.03 Shop drawings submitted upon request.
1.04 The www.TURNSTILES.us, Inc. Optical Turnstiles will utilize the building access control systems to grant or deny access.
1.05 High-speed/nonrestrictive pedestrian passageways. Passageways are truly bi-directional at all times.
2.00 PART II PRODUCTS
2.01 Turnstile models as provided by www.TURNSTILES.us, Inc., Conifer, Colorado
2.02 BEACON™ SERIES 202.1 Bollard construction: 304 Stainless steel. No. 4 brushed satin finish. Dimensions: 36-3/4" long x 39" high x 8-7/8" wide.
202.2 Top surface: Solid surface material in a variety of colors provided by www.TURNSTILES.us, Inc. Template is available for unique material requirements.
202.3 Optical sensors provide for passage for up to 30 people per minute. Throughput is dependent on type of card reader technology and response time of the access system.
202.4 Visual and audible annunciation is provided at each passageway to provide status of passageway, indication of valid card read, or alarm condition.
202.5 Horizontal and Vertical Graphic Arrays/HGA's and VGA's/solid state.
202.6 Optical sensors are provided to prevent individuals from obtaining unauthorized access by crawling through the lane.
202.7 Distinctive tones for valid card and alarm condition. Adjustable volume control with an 82 db maximum. Buzzer sounds upon alarm condition.
202.8 All components are designed specifically by www.TURNSTILES.us, Inc. for optical turnstile high security access control products, and made in the USA.
202.9 All components including the HGA's and VGA's are solid state in design and are virtually maintenance free.
202.10 Power requirements: Power supply input 100/120/220/230/240 VAC 50/60HZ Output - 24 VDC @ 2 amps. per passageway. 2.03 OPTIONS 203.1 Optional console device can remotely monitor and control lane use.
203.2 Alarm outputs: N/C, N/O relay rated at 5 amp @24 VDC/auxiliary alarm output contacts provided for interface to building access control, fire/life safety, security, CCTV and monitoring systems. 3.0 PART III EXECUTION
3.01 Purchaser to install units in accordance with integrator's shop drawings and installation manual.
3.02 Warranty: Units are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from date of delivery. See Warranty information for specific details.
